How the Meadow Score works

The Meadow Score is a weighted average of published star ratings. Newer reviews count more: a review loses half its weight every 365 days. Reviews from verified customers count 1.5 times. To keep a few reviews from swinging the result, the score starts from the typical rating in the category as if it had 5 reviews, and it is shown once a business has 3 reviews. Reviews where the writer received something in return are left out or count less. Businesses cannot pay to change it.

Gareth Lowe Regular August 22, 2026

Experience in August 2026

The gutter was replaced well and has not leaked since. Bits of old sealant were left on the patio and I had to sweep up after them.

What went well: The new gutter works
What could be better: Left debris behind

Good roof repair, slow to reply at first

Tom Okafor Regular February 18, 2026

Experience in February 2026

It took two weeks and three calls to get a quote. Once booked, the team replaced the cracked slates and repointed the chimney in a day, and sent photos of the work from up on the roof.

What went well: Photos of the finished work
What could be better: Slow to give a quote

Quality of work: 5 of 5
Punctuality: 4 of 5
Communication: 2 of 5
