Lovely rye, slightly pricey
Review of Kettle and Crumb Bakehouse
Experience in August 2026
Their dark rye keeps for days and makes excellent toast. A loaf costs a little more than at the supermarket, but it is a different thing entirely. They also told me which bakes contain nuts without me having to ask twice.
- What went well
- Clear allergen information
- What could be better
- Prices have crept up

Gentle classes, great for beginners
Review of Quiet Harbour Yoga Room
Experience in April 2026
The Tuesday evening class is slow and carefully explained, with options for every pose. The room is warm and quiet, and mats are provided. I have been going for five months.

- What could be better
- Popular classes fill up fast

Healthy plants and honest advice
Review of Fernhollow Plant Studio
Experience in September 2025
The staff talked me out of a fern that would not survive my north-facing flat and suggested a hoya instead. A year on it is thriving. Pots are reasonably priced and they repot for free if you bring the plant back.
- What went well
- Honest advice and free repotting
- What could be better
- Car parking nearby is limited
- Range: 5 of 5
- Staff knowledge: 5 of 5
- Value: 4 of 5
