I ordered a lemon and elderflower cake four days ahead for my mother's seventieth. It was ready at the time they promised, boxed carefully, and the writing on top was neat. Everyone asked where it came from.
- What went well
- Ready exactly when promised
- What could be better
- Only two flavours for celebration cakes

Thanks for the kind words. We have added two more stools by the window since your visit, so it should be easier to sit down now.
Repair held, but three missed appointments

They fixed a leak above the bathroom and it has stayed dry through two storms. Before that, though, they missed three agreed visits without calling, and I took time off work each time. The work is fine; the communication was not.
